The Saints offer much inspiration and guidance in their
writings. Also...asking them to pray for us is helpful too :) I
enjoy reading the Lives of the Saints. My favorites are: St. Francis of
Assisi, St. Louis De Montfort, St. Justin Martyr, St. Clement of Rome, St.
Ignatius of Antioch, St. Polycarp, St. Peter, St. Paul, St. Augustine, St.
Francis De Sales, St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Thomas Becket, St. Catherine of Siena,
St. Edith Stein, St. Maxmilian Kolbe, and Venerable John Henry Cardinal
Newman. Yes....I like alot of the saints. It is so comforting and
wonderful to know that there are so many brothers and sisters who are praying
for us. Remember that we are family and all who are in Christ are alive
and not dead. In fact, the Saints in Heaven aren't dead at all...meaning
that they are with Christ. They are more alive than we are.
Also....in the Church, there are many devotions and sacramentals. These
links deal with the lives of some of the Saints and devotions. :)
